I graduated from the University of Colorado in Spring 2023 with a major in Environmental Design - Urban Planning and a minor in Business, achieving a Major GPA of 3.52. During my time in school, I focused on practical applications of urban planning principles, highlighted by real-world projects and collaborations.
At the City of Boulder Planning and Development Office, I led a team in developing a comprehensive master plan integrating environmental sustainability and community needs. This involved site programming, landscaping, stormwater management, traffic studies, and proposed municipal code updates.
Additionally, I tackled the housing crisis in Boulder through policy analysis and comprehensive planning solutions. Furthermore, I worked on an entrepreneurial project, leading a team in the creation of a streamlined trip planning application.
Who am I?
I'm from Alexandria, Virginia, and after moving to Boulder, Colorado for school, I am back in the beautiful capital city area. Enjoying nature is a passion of mine, and I feel incredibly lucky to have lived at both sea level surrounded by water, and at a mile high elevation surrounded by mountains and large open prairies. I am grateful to feel inspired wherever I am, which enables me to see the beauty in everything. After many speed bumps in life, I am more determined than ever to create an incredibly fulfilling life for myself. I'm halfway there already, as my fiance and dog make every day one of the best days of my life. I strive to be as optimistic and determined as possible, never letting roadblocks hold me back.
